Customer service is very rude they just want money they don't care about what's going on in your life they will talk down about you and threatened to put you out in the streets the worst Mortgage company I know
User's recommendation: Don't use this mortgage company please.
When go to pay your monthly payments there web site is never up to date to show the last payment you made the month before. It used to be now its not. You can't tell what you balance is or how much you paid the previous month because it is telling what you paid 3...

This company is like no other we have ever dealt with. They call all day every day on every number they have. They have gotten our family number somehow and have been calling them and I have no idea how they have gotten there numbers. Even if u send them a payment and its just a couple dollars short they are calling saying they can't do anything with until they have received all of it and then they start adding all of these late fees. They are very rude when they speak to us always threatning to take our house. They have even sent people to our house saying they where there to see when they was going to receive payment but when you go in the house they start taking pictures. We filed bankruptcy and was advised that the account would be brought current in December 2017 we agreed to a relief of stay agreement and now only due for May the April payment was a couple days late due to another company had taken money from our bank that was on auto draft and we was unaware of that. Now they have sent to the courts to remove us from our home stating that we did not make the April payment in which i have proof we did and now I have to find some where else to live they have also talked to us like dogs and called repetively until we filed bankruptcy my attorney told me to call ans see what i could do when I did i talked to a guy names Paul that was really rood and advised me that I had no sense and they were taking my home anyways he didnt have time to discuss with me further so i had my attorney to call and they wouldnt work with her either i feel like we need to file a calls a lawsuit against them and be awarded for harassment and to me this feels like preditory lending especially when they will no refinance after having the loan for 4 years and they said they would refinance after 2 years and the interest rate was suppose to be at 7% when got loan and ended up being %10 and the payment was suppose to be $550 a month with insurance and taxes included but ended up being $774 and now the payment went up to $786 a month I just dont understand how you can tell someone one thing when they sign the paperwork and then change the contract after it is signed.

that sounds about right i really wish our mortgage was somewhere else too. our payment is due the first of the month n we have til the 17th before a late fee hits but if that payment is not there on the 1st they are calling and threatening to foreclose on us too. and we have been a couple days past the first before but its always there that first week. but when you talk to them they talk down to you like you are nothing and they are so much better. i dont care who you are everyone hits hard times in their life. and threats of losing your house over a couple days dont make it any easier. they need better customer service training along with a check back into reality so they can realize that they are no better than their customers.

Equity payment arrangement
Spoke with a Katie and Joe (Memphis, TN) location to try and make arrangement for a late payment and past due. Because of unforeseen setbacks such as medical bills (doctor's negligence) car repairs and death in the family. Joe said he didn't care in so many words. They were rude and nasty and proceeded to tell me I didn't have a problem asking for the loan and signing for it. Please do not get a loan with this company the worst customer service ever even their immediate supervisor was rude as *** and nasty. They all need to take a customer course. posted Aug 2, 2013.
21st mortgage treats customers like dollar signs!
We were in urgent need of a place to live a few months ago and decided to attempt to purchase a mobile home. We were able to purchase a 2000 model single wide home through 21st mortgage. We have only lived in the home for five months, and they are already threatening taking the home! We attempted to make a payment date change and at the time they told us that they had to charge us to do so. The rep we spoke to gave us the wrong instructions on the time we had to get the payment and the letter of intent to them. Well they took both that money and our monthly payment over drafting our account. They refused to pay the bank fees and only after putting up a fight did they change the date without making us pay to do so. Then my husband was off work for two months due to an injury and was on short term disability. Our house payment was made on time both of those months. He recently returned to work and because of the time between checks we are struggling to catch up on all our bills. We keep everyone informed and everyone but 21st wants to work with us. Our next payment is due the 15th and he does not get paid again until the 17th and they refuse to wait TWO days! If the payment is not there Monday they will forclose!
